Check! is the third in the series of one-on-one matchups; others include Pursuit, Classic Form, and One Step Ahead. Matt Russell, Navy All-American Goalie is the latest in my poster series. This is a piece that I am very excited about! A wonderful painting. The original was done in acrylics measuring 22 x 30". The colors are balanced and expressive; the bold red of the jersey is the focal point and painterly brush strokes accent the portrayal of physical contact in lacrosse.
