Classic Form is the fourth in the series of one-on-one matchups; others include Check!, Pursuit, and One Step Ahead. The most recent painting added to my portfolio, in work for nearly a year is Matt Russell, Navy All-American Goalie. Classic Form is a high contrast painting that dramatizes the
perfect form of a shot on goal. The original was done in acrylics
measuring 22 x 30". The colors range from deep blues and purples
with background in painterly overlays of blues, ochres, and tans.
The facial expression illustrates the energy resulting in the climax
of offensive lacrosse; a winning goal! Limited edition prints are available; image 14 x 18" on 18 x 22" sheet. Signed, numbered, edition of 399, printed on archival (acid free) paper. $80 per print. |
