The inspirational quote at the base of the poster reads, "Relentless pursuit, whether a lacrosse ball or your dreams; this is what scores goals."

Pursuit is the second in the series of three one-on-one matchups. It was created using a combination of acrylic paints and chalk pastels. Lots of color and bold swashes accentuate the fast action of lacrosse. The original is a large piece of art, measuring 22 x 30" and executed on 100% rag, heavy watercolor paper.

The photo used as reference was taken by sports photographer Larry French of Annapolis, Maryland.
